Olive Garden is just wonderful. I had soup salad and breadsticks and the service brought me more as fast as I could put em down!

The minestrone or faggioli soup were decent. The iceberg salad has a low nutritional value. The pastas were over-cooked. The lasagna was bland. The size portion is generous. The service is ok. Parking is easy and free.

Yes, yes I know, it's an Olive Garden. Don't laugh. It has been some years since I went to Olive Garden. Probably about 5. I remember being a lot more to choose from, and it seems they parred down the menu. A lot. And the portions seem smaller for what you pay for. I forgot what I ordered, it wasn't bad...but my fiance's chicken alfredo tasted like they used cream cheese for the base. Which is a cheapie way to make an alfredo sauce. Not to mention I really, really don't like cream cheese. The drink was good though. Won't be going back though. I'll stick to Red Lobster (stop laughing!).

This has to be the coolest Olive Garden ever. Instead of having waiters/waitresses they have small computers on every table to place orders, they still have menus and waiters/waitresses but it's a new thing they are testing out. It was pretty neat! You can even play games on those. Also our waitress was really sweet, I ordered the unlimited Zuppa Toscana(my all time favorite) and only had one bowl because I wasn't that hungry. When we checked out she brought me a bowl to take home because she felt bad I only had one bowl. Aw! Anyways, I'm not really into chained restaurants(because everything is either frozen or comes out from a bag) but the Zuppa Toscana from OG is acceptable. P.S- we came to this part of town for the sand dunes(which you should check out), we did not drive all the way here for the coolest OG in the USA!!

I will never eat here again. My girl and I are scarred for life. Watch for those hairs people.

it's almost like the owner doesn't give a rip any more.... The owner needs to either improve the quality of the food & service, or shut the whole chain down. whatever he's doing now, just is not getting it.

I love the slow service and the way a waiter uses the push broom under your feet while you eat.

This has been one of my favorite dine in places in MC but there can be improvements. Staffs are friendly and the food is good. However, the inconsistency in taste is a big issue here. Sometimes the soup is just right, sometimes it's watery with no taste and occasionally, it's super salty. It's not just with the soup, it happens to me with other dishes too.

Be ready to wait forever took over 30 mins for our food after our salad and breadsticks so if you are hungry just go to Ryan's

I just left the Olive Garden in Michigan City. I'm not writing about the food, because the food is pretty much the same at most Olive Gardens. I'm writing about the extraordinary service I observed from a waiter named Michael. He was not our waiter, but the table next to ours & I caught myself listening to him because he was so pleasant & attentive to his table. The kind of service that makes you want to come back.

I love the Olive Garden, always have. I even worked there at one time. And this building is gorg, but the service (including the tables next to me) was horrendous. The server was complaining to us that she was too busy, that no one had filled up the salad station then the lettuce didn't have the wash they use to clean it washed out of it. I was very disappointed. Asked for a new salad and it was the same thing.

This is the best service and best food of all of the Olive Gardens I have ever been to. I have had problems with getting correct orders, and the Manager is ALWAYS right on top of it and will make up for errors, he always visits our table every time I have been there, asking how we are enjoying ourselves, The waitstaff is always extremely friendly and fun. By far though, the Manager is top notch. I wish I remembered his name to give him more credit!

Good franchise-fare. My waitress was very pleasant and the food never disapoints!

Basic Olive Garden. It's still pretty new. The servers are the best I've had. Since it is a chain restaurant, i'll keep this short. Good place. Always busy.

En route back to the city, I decided that I would attempt to try the unlimited soup and salad deal. The restaurant was nice, but our server wasn't quite hospitable and I felt she didn't take the time to take care of our specific dietary needs. I wasn't too impressed!

Food is good and consistent. Wish I could say the same for the service!

Chicken Parm and Minestrone but our waitress sucked. Left 4 + empty glasses on the table, and plates everywhere.

Seen one seen them all(almost). Not bad. Service is good. Food is Olive Garden(if you know what I mean). Good parking. Don't understand why these places are always full. Don't get me wrong they are ok. What is the big deal? Must be a lot of pasta lovers.

If I am close to home, you will most likely not find me at an Olive Garden, but if I am out of town I know I will get a decent Italian meal. Whenever an establishment offers unlimited anything, it automatically gets a point in it's favor in my book. The unlimited salad and bread sticks earns them this extra favor point. We took Lara's parents here to celebrate their birthdays as this is a place that they enjoy. To be honest with you, I rather enjoyed my meal too. I had fettuccine alfredo and it was pretty good. Our server did a very good job. Although this place was packed, we still we taken care of in a timely manner. I really could not have asked for anything more.

I can't understand why they build an Olive Garden next to a buffet restaurant. I mean I would choose Ryans over this place. I mean you would pay 15 dollars just for a plate of food and extra for drinks/dessert. I mean you go to Ryans and eat almost anything you want and as much as you want plus desserts for the same price.

I went to dinner here tonight with a friend had a beautiful server named Sarah she had black hair... Very up beat and excited to wait on us. I was amazingly pleased with how much she new, and able to discuss with us about the menu... The timing for everything coming out was perfect. Our drinks were never empty never had dirty plates just sitting on our table made sure our food was just how we wanted it... That's what I call service at its best... Fyi I am a server so I kno it's not easy going 100% percent to every table u have but this girl gave me 110% and still had more tables to take care of... Just wanna say great job Sarah u were by far the best server I have ever had at Olive Garden N will be the only server I have from now on! Ur worth well over a 20% tip!

Olive Garden was my 13yr old daughters choice for her Birthday dinner. We had a small wait on a Saturday night, not bad. I secretly asked if they did anything for a Birthday, and was told I could buy a Cake for about $8 bucks! Very disappointed in that, but I ordered one anyway, was ok, not great! The chicken Alfredo was the best I ever tasted, salad was good, breadsticks were good but you have to get them fresh and warm. Salmon was average, but didnt get it in the tasty sauce. Waitress was pretty friendly and efficient and we were mostly satisfied.

Everything was either too salty or too greasy here.

I love me some Olive Garden and Red Lobster when I'm out in the suburbs. This is one of the nicer Olive Garden's I've been to. Steaming hot breadsticks, friendly staff, and tons of places to sit. The manager even came out to apologize because our meal took a few minutes to come out. And who can saw no to unlimited salad, breadsticks, and meaty pasta for less than $12?! The only awful thing is that Indiana hasn't jumped on the "let's not give other people cancer" smoking ban. Although the non-smoking section was large enough, and far enough away it wasn't too bothersome.

We stopped on our way home and had a great experience. Selina our waitress was very polite and attentive. Service was fast despite it being a Saturday night. My daughter had the eggplant parmigiana and I had a create your own with the garlic Parmesan sauce. Both dishes were very good.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
